Sangiran Museum is one of interesting attractions in Sragen. Situated within the Sangiran dome at the foot of the mountain Lawu approximately 17 kilometers from the city of Solo. Sangiran is a symbol of human life picture of the past, this site is the most complete hominid fossil in Java. The extent of the area reaches 56 square kilometers and includes the three districts in Sragen namely: District Pulpuh, Gemolong, Kalijambe and Karanganyar.
